Top Tips for New Parents This Valentine’s Day

How to Make Time for Your Relationship

Having a baby is one of the most amazing things couples can do together, however, it can also mean that sleep deprivation and the stress of a new routine can take over your lives!

That’s why Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to reconnect and remind yourselves of how much you love and appreciate each other.

Here are our top tips for making time for your relationship this Valentine’s Day:

Make a plan

If you are hoping to spend some time out of the house with each other, making a plan is essential!

From arranging a babysitter to sorting out the baby’s feeds while you’re gone, making a plan will mean you can relax while you’re out knowing that everything has been taken care of.

Manage your expectations

Now that you have a baby, celebrations might not be a case of grand romantic gestures, but smaller, more meaningful activities are now the order of the day!

Run a bath, light some candles and order a takeaway to make the most of your time together at home, or simply head out to your local restaurant for a bite to eat.

Involve the family

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to just be about romance, you can celebrate your love for the family as well by including them in your plans. Head out for a stroll along the beach together or make a trip to get some ice cream as a family.

However you decide to celebrate this Valentine’s Day, we hope that you have a great time!
